  1. The name of the school is The Snaith School.
  2. The school is a community school.
  3. The name of the governing body is “The governing body of The Snaith School”.
  4. The governing body shall consist of:
    1. 7 parent governors (at least one third of the places)
    2. 4 LEA governors (one fifth of the places)
    3. 4 staff governors (at least two, up to and including one third of the places and including the Headteacher).
    4. d    5 community governors (at least one fifth of the places) .
  5. Total number of governors 20.
  6. The term of office is 4 years.
  7. This instrument of government comes into effect on 1 September 2004.
  8. This instrument was made by order of East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
  9. A copy of the instrument must be supplied to every member of the governor body.
